'Local voices in land use decisions Co-producing spatial knowledge on ecosystem services with indigenous and tribal communities in intact forest regions’
It is the result of participatory research done by Tropenbos Suriname between 2013 and 2016 in a joint project with the Association of Saamaka Authorities (VSG) and the local people.
This book contains information about the knowledge on the ecosystem services of tribal communities living in intact forest areas. The book was published in three languages: the Saamaka, Dutch and English and were handed over tot the traditional authorities who contributed to the creation of this document, in October 2020.
